General Manager: Jonathan Adler
About the Brand:
Potter, designer and author Jonathan Adler launched his namesake brand after leaving his day job to pursue his first love: pottery. In 1993, Barneys bought his collection of pots, and five years later, he opened his first store in Soho.
Today, we are a design company with retail locations worldwide, a thriving e-commerce site, a full slate of residential and commercial projects, and a global wholesale business. We strive to create luxe and livable interiors that are seriously designed, but don’t take themselves too seriously.
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and visionary General Manager to lead our boutique, powered by the Leap Platform, in the UES Opening September 2026. This opportunity is ideal for an accomplished retail leader who thrives on full business ownership—developing exceptional teams, driving profitable growth, and creating memorable customer experiences.
As the leader of the boutique, you will be accountable for the overall success of the business, translating brand strategy into commercial results while cultivating a high-performing, customer-focused culture. Beyond the four walls of the boutique, you will serve as a brand ambassador within the local market, building community partnerships, supporting events and activations, and identifying opportunities to grow brand awareness. In partnership with Leap, you may also contribute to new store openings, cross-store initiatives, and broader market priorities.
Annual Pay Range: $75k – $90k
Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, competencies, and qualifications.
