The Role:
At Leap, the Merchandising Coordinator is the key support role to the Merchandising team. In this role, the Coordinator will primarily support our Senior Manager in overseeing our scaled national fine jewelry brands, dedicating approximately 65% of your time to this critical function. Responsibilities will include inventory tracking / uploading, cycle count reconciliation, reporting, catalog management and more. The remaining 35% will be allocated to assisting the Merchandising team with our large-scale, multi-brand National store accounts. 
The Merchandising Coordinator will report into our Senior Merchandising Manager, but will have frequent communication with cross-functional partners including Platform Operations, Visual Merchandising, Marketing and Customer Success. This person will gain a deep understanding of the Merchandising function at Leap.

Role Location:
This role is based in NYC as a hybrid role.

Core Responsibilities:
Brand Facing Logistics
  • Act as a key liaison between our Senior Merchandising Manager and Platform Operations for inventory related work streams for our fine jewelry brands
  • Key point of contact for logistics and inventory related work streams for our fine jewelry brands
Back End Inventory Management
  • Collaborate with field teams to maintain accurate inventory records and support weekly cycle counts.
  • Manage shipping/tracking for product deliveries; replenishments, new store openings and new product launches
Merchandising Support
  • Support the Merchandising team in day to day work streams for our scaled accounts

Outcomes & Measures of Success:
  • Accurately manage and maintain inventory for scaled national brands across the platform.
  • Ensure consistent and clear cross-functional communication.
  • Provide new ideas and recommendations to improve process efficiency.
  • Successfully manage and maintain accurate inventory for our scaled National

Candidate Requirements
  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience required
  • Experience using Shopify, Microsoft Office, Google Suite (with a specialization in Excel and Sheets)

Candidate Preferences:
  • Experience and/or passion for retail, fashion and DTC
  • Experience in fine jewelry preferred 
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving / growth company environment

Salary Range Transparency
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary for this position is $60,000 - $65,000. All corporate roles are eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
